Spanish giants Barcelona are set to secure an imminent, and altogether timely cash injection, to add to the club's budget for the summer transfer window.

The player in line to depart the Camp Nou? Ferran Jutgla.

The name of Jutgla, a 23-year-old attacker, will be well known to regular viewers of the Blaugrana, after the Spaniard was afforded eight appearances across all competitions as part of the club's first-team setup this past season.

It was his form with Barca's B team, though, which truly caught the eye.

This came as Jutgla, across 32 appearances in the The Primera División RFEF, racked up 19 goals, to go along with a further six assists.

Such stellar efforts had culminated in inevitable suggestions of late that the talented attacker could be in line to play a more prominent role under first-team boss Xavi Hernandez in 2022/23, amid ongoing speculation surrounding the futures of Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite and more.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then, in fact, Jutgla is set for a permanent departure from the Catalan capital.

As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a deal has been struck between the transfer team at the Camp Nou, and their counterparts at Belgian giants Club Brugge.

Jutgla, in turn, is primed to put pen to paper on terms with the latter, in a move which could be made official as early as next week.

Barca, for their part, are expected to pocket a sum in the region of €6 million for Jutgla's services.
