An update on the chase for Leeds United winger Raphinha has emerged on Tuesday.

As reported by The Athletic, Leeds are open to selling Raphinha providing the club’s valuation, of the player is met. The exact figure Leeds are looking to net for Raphinha is unknown.

The Brazilian has been repeatedly linked with a move to Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona, but there are growing concerns over whether or not the La Liga side can fund a deal.

The Spanish side have debts of more than £1 billion and strict controls on their recruitment and expenditure. Their financial issues can also be seen by the fact they are still yet to announce to signing of Andreas Christensen, who is supposed to be joining on a free transfer.

So, with Barcelona seemingly out of the running for Raphinha, it is expected to be a fight between Arsenal and Tottenham for the winger.

Chelsea are also understood to hold an interest in the 25-year-old, but they are working on a deal for Ousmane Dembele.

As well as Raphinha, Tottenham have been linked with Everton forward Richarlison of late, though it is believed that Spurs will not sign both players.

Unlike Arsenal, though, Tottenham came offer both Richarlison and Raphinha the chance to play in the Champions League next season.
