Tottenham & Antonio Conte equal 60-year-old club benchmark in Everton win

The Lilywhites got the job done once more on Saturday

The latest three-point haul secured by Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening has since given rise to an altogether head-turning statistic.

Antonio Conte’s troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

In the last of the day’s Premier League fixtures, Spurs welcomed Frank Lampard’s Everton to north London, eyeing a 2nd win on the spin.

And, when all was said and done, emerge triumphant once more is precisely what the Lilywhites went on to do.

After Harry Kane opened the evening’s scoring from the penalty spot on the hour mark, a fine late finish on the part of Pierre-Emile Højbjerg rounded out a largely comfortable evening’s work for Conte and co.

As alluded to above, though, Tottenham’s 7th win of the campaign did not only prove significant in guiding the capital outfit to within a solitary point of the Premier League’s summit.

As per statisticians Opta, their current total of 23 points marks the most accrued by a Spurs side after ten games of a top-flight season since all the way back in 1963/64.
