Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal with capital rivals Chelsea over the signing of a highly-regarded member of the Blues’ youth setup.
The player in question? Jude Soonsup-Bell.
For those not aware, Soonsup-Bell is a 19-year-old England youth international, who has been honing his craft with Chelsea since making the move to west London from Swindon Town back in 2016.
A striker by trade, the teenage prodigy has piqued widespread attentions over the course of the last couple of seasons, owing to his head-turning exploits in the Blues’ youth setup.
A 14-goal haul in 16 appearances at U18-level in 2020/21 culminated in Soonsup-Bell being rewarded with a spot in the U21 ranks last season, since going from strength to strength.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media late on Sunday evening is anything to go by, then the talented attacker’s predicted breakthrough at senior level over the years ahead will not come with Chelsea.
As per a a host of reliable sources, Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a cut-price deal to bring the Wiltshire native to north London this month.
After Soonsup-Bell made clear to the powers that be at Chelsea that he had no intention of extending his terms with the club beyond the summer, Spurs swooped in decisive fashion this week.
The youngster, in turn, is primed to undergo a medical with the latter over the coming days, ahead of putting pen to paper on a contract with the Lilywhites.
