Thiago Silva has urged fellow Brazilian Neymar to come to Chelsea in a recent interview.

Silva’s comments come following reports in the press that PSG are looking to move Neymar on.

The South American signed for the French powerhouse in 2017, and he has since featured on 144 occasions for them, netting 100 and assisting 60 in the process.

However, it now looks as though PSG, who just agreed a new contract with Kylian Mbappe, are looking to move the 30-year-old on.

Neymar is currently under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2025, but there have been reports that he will receive an automatic contract extension until 2027 on July 1.

But it has been claimed that PSG do not want Neymar at the club next season regardless:

Following said claims, there has been reports linking the former Santos man with Chelsea and FC Barcelona.

And now, Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has urged Neymar to join him in west London:

"He should come to Chelsea. Now, if it happens, it would be the best possible thing for us,” Silva said.

But whilst Neymar may improve Chelsea's front line, it is hard to see the Blues being able to afford his mammoth wages. Thomas Tuchel and co. also already appear to be closing in on the signing of Raheem Sterling, making a move for Neymar even less likely.
