‘Surprisingly good’: Manchester United fans single one player out for praise during Arsenal clash

Manchester United and Arsenal are currently locked in Premier League action at Old Trafford.

Arsenal headed into the game looking to maintain their perfect start to the season, but had to do so without their two senior defensive midfielders.

As for Manchester United, they were looking to build on their upturn in form, which had seen them win their last three games and concede just one goal.

At the time of writing, neither side has been able to break the deadlock. Arsenal had a goal disallowed after VAR judged Martin Odegaard to have fouled Christian Eriksen in the build-up to Gabriel Martinelli’s goal.

Outside of that chance, though, Manchester United have dominated most of the game.

One of the Red Devils’ better performers on Sunday so far has been Scott McTominay.

Casemiro was expected to be given his first start of the season vs the Gunners, but Erik ten Hag once again deployed McTominay alongside Christian Eriksen.

That decision has been justified so far, with McTominay dominating the midfield.

As a result, United fans have been full of praise for the Scotsman, with just some of the reaction shown below:
