Shakhtar Donetsk chief spotted with ex-Arsenal & Chelsea stars amid ongoing Mudryk speculation

A photo doing the rounds on social media on Thursday evening is no doubt set to pique widespread attentions across the fanbases of both Arsenal and Chelsea.

This comes amid the ongoing speculation surrounding the future of Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk.

The name of wide-man Mudryk has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines for several months now.

This comes after the Ukrainian was added to the winter wishlists of not one, but two of the Premier League’s heavyweight clubs.

Arsenal, to this point, have been most widely tipped to land Mudryk, with the youngster understood to favour a move to the Emirates over any other potential destination.

London rivals Chelsea, though, have too recently entered the fray, backed fully in their bid by new owner Todd Boehly.

Mudryk, in turn, is expected to depart current employers Shakhtar before the month is out, albeit with his landing spot remaining up in the air as things stand.

It will therefore no doubt come as an interesting development to hear that, on Thursday, Shakhtar Donetsk director Darijo Srna was spotted in England’s capital.

Not only that, but the Croat attended a restaurant alongside former Arsenal and Chelsea stars alike.

As showcased in the image below, Eduardo da Silva (Arsenal) and Willian (Arsenal and Chelsea), both of whom lined out for Shakhtar earlier in the respective playing careers, joined Srna for a meal.

Mudryk’s future no doubt took its place centre stage in the conversation between the trio...
