Romelu Lukaku responds to Noel Gallagher dig ahead of Champions League final

Manchester City face Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Manchester City are on the cusp on making history when they take on Inter Milan later this week.

A win over Inter would see Manchester City become just the second team in Premier League history to complete the treble, whilst also winning their first-ever Champions League trophy.

Ahead of the final, Pep Guardiola’s side have seen off Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, and Noel Gallagher is pleased to have Inter as their final hurdle ‘because they’re the weakest’ team from that side of the draw.

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has since been questioned about Gallagher’s comments and said:

“Noel Gallagher? Who is he? Honestly, I don’t care what they say. I’m only focused on Inter and we have to do our best to make history.”

The Belgian added: “I believed in reaching the final right from the start. In the summer, while I was in Sardinia with my family, when we started talking about the loan, I immediately said that I believed in it, I don’t know why. I think we can do it.
