An insight into the transfer plans of the powers that be at German giants Bayern Munich has been forthcoming late on Friday.
The last month, of course, has proven nothing short of chaotic across all fronts at the Allianz Arena.
First, head coach Julian Nagelsmann was dismissed, with ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel introduced in his place.
Then, in just his 2nd outing on the bench in Bavaria, Tuchel oversaw a DFB-Pokal quarter-final exit at the hands of Freiburg.
Bayern were subsequently embarrassed on the continent, too, by way of a three-goal drubbing at the hands of Manchester City en route to an underwhelming last-eight ousting from the Champions League, too.
Not only that, but the club’s Etihad drubbing was followed by a major fallout between Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane, ultimately culminating in the former punching his attacking partner in crime.
With the Bundesliga title also still very much up for grabs, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear that change looks imminent in Bavaria ahead of next season.
As per a report from reliable Bayern reporter Kerry Hau, four first-team players are set to be made available for transfer at the Allianz this summer.
The quartet in question? Serge Gnabry, Bouna Sarr, Sadio Mane and, in a boost for Manchester United, Red Devils loan star Marcel Sabitzer.
