Haaland is currently in simply sensational form for Manchester City.
He has scored 15 and assisted three in just nine league games this season.
Haaland is also the quickest player to reach three Premier League hat-tricks, doing so in just eight games.
However, ahead of facing Liverpool, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has warned bad moments will come for Haaland:
βMany bad moments are coming for sure – and in those moments he must say βitβs okay, now go for the next oneβ. We were surprised by his mentality. We know his skills, but how he behaves in the bad moments, in those situations,β stated the Spanish manager.
βHe will maybe go 20 minutes, not seeming to be involved in the game – but he is never out of the game. Thatβs because you always believe youβre in the process. When you have ability and you believe itβs always easier. Haaland is always there, saying βI will arrive, I will be there, I will score a goalβ,β he added.
Liverpool vs Manchester City
The Reds have won just two of eight games and their title hopes are all but over already.
As for Manchester City, they remain the only side left undefeated in the top-flight this campaign.
However, the Sky Blues are not currently top of the Premier League, as Arsenal are one point above them.
It seems very likely that Man City will go top sooner rather than later, though, with the Gunners now likely Cityβs biggest rivals this year ahead of Liverpool.
