‘Our worst signing ever’ - Chelsea fans slam one member of Potter’s squad after Man United

The Blues faithful are in an unforgiving mood on Saturday

Supporters of Premier League giants Chelsea have flooded to social media on Saturday evening, to make their frustrations with one player crystal clear.

The Blues, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

In a crunch matchup amid the battle for a top-4 berth in England’s top-flight, Graham Potter’s troops welcomed Manchester United to Stamford Bridge, eyeing a 6th win on the spin under the watch of their new boss.

When all was said and done, though, Chelsea were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.

This came owing to a hard-fought 1-1 stalemate, the telling moment of which came a full five minutes into injury time.

After Jorginho put the evening’s hosts in front from the penalty spot minutes from time, it was Casemiro who proved the hero for Manchester United, rising to direct a wonderful off-balance header beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga and home:

In turn, on the back of an altogether disappointing close to proceedings for their side at Stamford Bridge, it should come as little surprise to hear of many of a Chelsea persuasion being quick to make their frustrations known.

This comes owing to the struggles of a number of the club’s stars, but above all, a recent big-money arrival in west London.

The player in question? Raheem Sterling.

Attacker Sterling was afforded his latest start on Saturday, joined in Graham Potter’s chosen front-three by Mason Mount and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

After enduring an evening to forget before ultimately being hooked a little over ten minutes from time, though, the English international has been targeted in absolutely ruthless fashion, the social media highlights of which can be seen below:
