The forward spoke in glowing terms of Chelsea’s decision to replace Thomas Tuchel with Potter and looked excited for what he hoped was a fresh start.
But whilst these are early days, Pulisic has started only once under the former Brighton manager’s watch.
Having grown unhappy at the club during Tuchel’s tenure, Pulisic was tempted to leave over the course of the 2022 summer transfer after attracting interest from Manchester United.
However, he stayed put and continues to be used as a fringe option.
And now, Wynalda has come out and claimed Pulisic simply does not like Christian Pulisic:
“A lot of comments coming from Graham Potter suggesting that he’s (Pulisic) great around the place, he’s a good player, he’s a good guy, we’re all rooting for him,” he said.
“Bottom line is Graham Potter doesn’t like him. He just doesn’t like him. He’s the one player that if he’s coming down the hallway, he’s looking for the side door. He doesn’t wanna talk to him. He doesn’t wanna look at him and nobody will admit that.”
