Supporters of Premier League outfit Arsenal have taken to social media in their numbers on Thursday, to make their frustrations with one player clear.
Mikel Arteta’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.
After extending their advantage atop the English top-flight table at the weekend, the Gunners tonight turned their attentions towards matters on the continent, in a rescheduled Europa League group stage encounter with Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.
Arsenal headed into proceedings in the knowledge that a victory would see them open up a hefty five-point gap at the top of the Group A standings.
And, as things stand at the Emirates, all three points is precisely what the evening’s visitors are headed towards.
This comes owing to the latest piece of brilliance on the part of the rejuvenated Granit Xhaka:
That is a delightful finish from Granit Xhaka! 💫

The player in question? Sambi Lokonga.
Belgian starlet Lokonga was afforded his latest chance to impress this evening, handed a starting berth in the middle of the park in a bid to afford some much-needed rest to Thomas Partey.
After struggling to make his presence known before ultimately being hooked midway through the 2nd-half, though, the Arsenal faithful have not been shy in making their feelings regarding the former RSC Anderlecht talent crystal clear:
Everytime I watch Lokonga I just feel he’s not good enough #ARSPSV

I’m not saying Lokonga is a terrible player by any means, i just don’t think he’s good enough for Arsenal.

Good things happen when Sambi Lokonga is not on the field

The standards for Lokonga are so low I’ve seen people say he’s been ok, well just ok isn’t good enough for Arsenal football club, get rid

Not sure if it’s the lack of awareness, positioning, intensity, defensive nous but I find him such an underwhelming player man. Bought as the supposed replacement for Xhaka or Partey but the gap between them and him is massive. The fact he got dropped for Elneny spoke volumes

Don’t think I’ve ever had an agenda against any of our players on here but Albert Sambi Lokonga is testing me man

I’m this close 🤏 to hating on this Lokonga boy. Just pisses me off everytime. If he’s not jogging back when we’re in trouble, he’s not available to receive the ball. His positioning is also awful.

Sambi Lokonga just not good enough… I can’t wait for Elneny to get back fit… Can’t take anymore Lokonga…
