Manchester City trying to approach Kylian Mbappe & monitor 19-year-old wonderkid

A couple of Manchester City transfer updates have emerged this week.

First up, Manchester City have been linked with an audacious move for wantaway PSG striker, Kylian Mbappe.

Erling Haaland is widely considered to be the best striker of his generation alongside Mbappe, and now Marca are suggesting that the two could join forces at the Etihad Stadium.

Multiple reports have claimed Mbappe is unhappy at PSG, despite signing a bumper three-year contract in May and the 23-year-old is said to be angered that promises made to him by the club have not been met, and that he wants to leave as soon as possible.

Spanish outlet Marca have earmarked Manchester City as one of a few suitors that could potentially afford to sign the Frenchman, alongside rivals Liverpool.

Elsewhere, according to TodoFichajes, Manchester City have sent scouts to monitor the progress of Las Palmas’ 19-year-old attacking midfielder, Alberto Moleiro.

The youngster is one of the brightest talents in Spain, with Barcelona having attempted to sign him last summer. Moleiro has a €30m release clause, active following his latest contract renewal.

Man City’s scouts have positive reports of the player, while Pep Guardiola has reportedly directly recommended his signing.

Moleiro has provided three assists in 10 La Liga 2 outings this season. He also made his Spain under-21 debut in September of this year.
