Mikel Arteta reveals when Thomas Partey is expected back from injury

Thomas Partey missed Arsenal’s win over Manchester United with a muscle injury.

The midfielder picked up the issue against Fulham and it looks to be fairly serious.

Mikel Arteta has revealed that Thomas Partey is due back in a couple of weeks.

His recovery is going well, however, a return in October is expected.

Arteta said: “He is still a few weeks away. It is a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, it was good news for Bukayo Saka who trained as normal today.

Arteta added: “There’s nothing to report.

“Every player has pain or issues, but [there is] nothing to worry about.”
