Arsenal see off Burnley
Arsenal were in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners faced a trip to Burnley, looking to build on their 1-0 win over a struggling Norwich side last weekend.
A win for Arsenal did seem fairly likely given that the Clarets were yet to pick up a single win in the Premier League this season before the weekend.
And, when all was said and done, it would indeed be the visitors who emerged with all three points at Turf Moor.
Martin Odegaard would open the scoring after 30 minutes via a superb free-kick and though Burnley had a number of chances throughout the game, Sean Dyche and co. were unable to find an equaliser, leaving them languishing down in 19th place in the English top-flight.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have now moved up to 13th place in the Premier League.

Odegaard excited to be part of Arsenal project
Arsenal now have a fairly mixed run of fixtures, which includes clashes with Tottenham, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
And whilst some of the above ties may prove stern tests for the north Londoners, they need to pick up results if Mikel Arteta is to stay in his job.
The Spaniard and Arsenal appear to have a fairly clear plan in place, which has, over the summer at least, seen a focus put on signing young talent and turning Arsenal into a top side over the next few years.
One of the young players signed over the summer was Martin Odegaard. And now, the former Real Madrid man has been speaking about Arsenal’s project.
When speaking after the Burnley win, Odegaard claimed that he is excited to be part of Arsenal and part of the project:
“I feel good here and at home and I am really excited to be part of this club and part of the project, excited by the future.
“My free-kick was a good hit and I felt it immediately. It was a good moment and an important goal which gave us the three points so I’m very happy.
“You have to hit it perfectly – right speed, right height.
“Three points was the most important thing. It was close and a bit chaotic in the end, but we got a win and a clean sheet as well, so we have to be happy and proud of that performance.”
