Marcus Rashford equalled an all-time PL record vs

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford etched his name into the history books of England’s top-flight on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

Fresh off a comfortable downing of Nottingham Forest in their post-World Cup break return to action earlier in the week, Erik ten Hag and co. made the trip to Molineux, for a Premier League meeting with Wolves.

And, when all was said and done in the Midlands, United went on to make it two wins on the spin.

This came owing to a solitary goal on the part of the aforementioned Marcus Rashford.

After being condemned to the bench from the off owing to a disciplinary breach, Rashford was introduced at the half-time break in proceedings, and went on to prove himself match-winner fifteen minutes from time.

As alluded to above, though, Rashford’s latest goal did not only prove significant in guiding Man United to what could prove to be a crucial three point-haul.

In addition, it saw the gifted attacker secure for himself an altogether noteworthy piece of history.

As per statisticians Opta: ‘Marcus Rashford has scored five match winning goals as a substitute, the joint most in Premier League history.’
