Manchester United head into the game looking to bounce back from the 7-0 hammering they received at the hands of Liverpool last weekend.
That result means Tottenham and Liverpool can now catch the Red Devils with relative ease in the coming weeks if they do not start picking up wins again.
And after Tottenham picked up a win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, they moved to within one point of United before they faced the Saints.
At the time of writing, the score remains deadlocked at 0-0.
Manchester United have had more of the possession at Old Trafford so far but they are struggling to create any real chances.
This has led to two Manchester United stars coming in for heavy criticism online in the form of Antony and Jadon Sancho.
And on Sunday, with Bruno Fernandes dropping deeper to partner Casemiro in the pivot, Sancho is being used as a no.10 by Erik ten Hag.
However, neither player has shone so far, with just some of the reaction to their respective displays shown below:
