Pep Guardiola is keeping his cards close to his chest ahead of the clash with Burnley.

The Spaniard has revealed that he is still yet to speak with his players about any injuries.

Guardiola told the media: “We train later, I’ve not talked to the players yet.

“I don’t know if there are any issues nor have I decided which eleven to play [vs Burnley]…”

Julian Alvarez

After renewing his contract during the week, Julian Alvarez is expected to lead the line.

Erling Haaland is set to be handed a rest following his five goals against RB Leipzig.

The Argentine has already scored and assisted in the FA Cup this season.

Phil Foden

Phil Foden’s role in the team has been fairly inconsistent this season.

Against Leipzig, he found himself on the bench.

He is expected to start on the weekend though having starred in the last round.

The 22-year-old netted a brace against Bristol City in a 3-0 win.
