Premier League leaders Manchester City look to make it three wins in the last four since their 1-0 away loss against Tottenham as they should fully intend to pounce on relegation-threatened Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium as Pep Guardiola’s men look to keep on the heels of table-topping Arsenal.
With the Gunners just two points clear of City despite their match in hand, the champions still have to remain on form for the remainder of the season if they are to make it five league wins in the last six seasons, but the task is a big one by comparison in 2022-23 with a City side that seems to be slightly off the boil in comparison to other seasons. Still, a win on their travels this weekend is the only acceptable outcome during a title race that is neck and neck.

Predicted Manchester City XI
Manchester City Team News
- Out: John Stones
- Doubt: Kevin De Bruyne, Aymeric Laporte
Pep Guardiola will be looking to his deep City squad for a response after mid-week struggles in Saxony against RB Leipzig and will be grateful for just about a full complement of players to choose from when they travel to the south coast.
Both Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte are slated to return to the squad on Saturday after both missed out on an away day in Germany due to reported illness, and if fit, one or both should be in contention to be slotted back into the matchday XI.
The only long-term absentee remains England international defender John Stones as the key center-back remains sidelined with a thigh injury, and should remain in that capacity for a while yet.
