Premier League giants Manchester United have, on Thursday, been afforded a boost on the personnel front.
The Red Devils star inching towards a return to the pitch? Christian Eriksen.
Danish international Eriksen, of course, was ruled out long-term earlier this year.
Forced into a premature departure from proceedings en route to United’s FA Cup downing of Reading in late January, it was subsequently revealed that the former Tottenham and Inter Milan standout had suffered a serious ankle injury.
Eriksen’s return to play timetable, in turn, was set for around three months.

If the latest images stemming from Carrington are anything to go by, though, then, in fact, the 31-year-old appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery.
Though he is unlikely to feature in any capacity against Everton this weekend, the Manchester United faithful should therefore look forward to the club’s deep-lying midfield conductor reinforcing their ranks in the middle of the park at some point over the coming weeks.
