Bournemouth team news and predicted XI vs Leicester City

The Cherries come into the weekend program right in the thick of the relegation dog fight, with every point earned vital to their efforts of avoiding the drop and could take advantage of the recent sacking of Brenden Rodgers

Bournemouth Team News

  • Out: Ryan Fredericks, Junior Stanislas
  • Doubt: Marcos Senesi

Bournemouth boss Gary O’Neil might be presiding over a bottom-three side in the Premier League, but the nature of the beast in the bottom half of the table in 2022-23 is such that the Cherries are only three points off 12th despite sitting 18th.

A weekend clash against managerless Leicester City offers a chance for the south coast outfit to climb up the table, and thankfully for O’Neill, there are only a few headaches he has to contend with. Both Ryan Fredricks and Junior Stanislas are still laid up in dry dock with injuries but are the only two guaranteed absentees at the weekend. Center-back Marcos Senesi came off injured against Brighton due to a hamstring problem and will face a late assessment, but will slot into the XI if he passes fit enough to start.
