Sections of the Manchester United fanbase in attendance at the club’s meeting with Fulham on Sunday have made use of the opportunity to take firm aim at their Leeds United counterparts.

This, of course, comes amid an action-packed final day of the Premier League season.

Whilst Erik ten Hag’s United, for their part, have little to play for after sewing up a top-4 berth last time out, Leeds, on the other hand, are scrapping for their top-flight lives.

In the knowledge that only a victory over stuttering Tottenham will keep them in with a chance of survival, however, the Whites, thus far, have failed to step up to the plate.

Owing to goals on the part of Harry Kane and Pedro Porro, Sam Allardyce’s men find themselves in a two-goal hole, and facing up to life back in the Championship.

Those of a Manchester United persuasion, in turn, could not help but poke fun at their long-time rivals.

‘Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again.’
