Jarrod Bowen sets impressive West Ham record with latest haul vs Larnaca

West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen has etched his name indellibly into the club’s history books late on Thursday night.

Bowen, and West Ham, are of course currently locked in action.

Amid what has proven a frankly dismal domestic campaign to date, the Irons have turned their attentions back towards matters on the continent, in a meeting with Cypriot outfit AEK Larnaca.

David Moyes’ troops headed into proceedings confident in their chances of marching on to the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League, owing to a 2-0 victory in the reverse leg in Larnaca this day last week.

And, since, West Ham have only gone about adding to their advantage.

After Gianluca Scamacca opened the scoring early on at the London Stadium, a quick-fire double on the part of the aforementioned Jarrod Bowen has since put the evening’s hosts out of sight.

As alluded to above, though, Bowen’s impact against Larnaca did not only prove significant in putting his side out of sight on Thursday.

In addition, it saw the gifted wide-man make history.

As confirmed by a number of sources online, Bowen is now West Ham’s all-time leading goalscorer in European competition.
