Brendan Rodgers has the task of guiding a foundering Leicester City away from the drop zone at the weekend at a tricky Brentford side motivated by the possibility of European football next season.

Youri Tielemans, James Justin, and Victor Kristiansen are all laid up in dry dock for the foreseeable future due to injury in a big blow to Leicester’s chances amidst a difficult 2022-23 campaign. Belgian international Wout Faes is suspended on account of receiving his marching orders against Chelsea last weekend as his topsy-turvy season continues.

Ryan Bertrand is back in training but will need time to hit match fitness, so he will miss out on proceedings here after suffering a knee injury. Danish center-back Jannik Vestergaard is likely to miss out on account of training away from the senior team.
