Wearing the number 7 shirt, Spence put together a strong performance in the right wing-back spot.
The defender was heavily involved in the first-half and produced some nice moves.
Spence managed to regularly get into good attacking positions down the right side and combined well with Dejan Kulusevski
In the 24th minute, he came close to getting his goal as he got on the end of a great pass for Kulusevski.
However, he couldn’t squeeze his effort past the Motherwell goalkeeper.
He once again came close to scoring after the half-hour mark as he found himself in a great position in the box but failed to guide home his header.
But following a really bright half from the 22-year-old, Spurs fans have taken to social media to praise him.
