Ian Wright makes Arsenal transfer claim after Premier League failure

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has been discussing Arsenal’s 2023 summer transfer window.

Arsenal were just a few wins away from claiming their first Premier League title since 2004.

However, for whatever reason, the Gunners began to collapse in April, with three draws and three losses eventually handing Manchester City the league title on May 20.

Following that collapse, it is clear Arsenal have a lot of work to do on and off the pitch if they are to truly challenge Manchester City for the title on a consistent basis.

The Gunners have built up a very strong starting XI. However, it is their squad depth that cost them this season.

Outside of maybe Leandro Trossard, Arsenal do not really have any players who can slot into their best XI and not make it worse.

So, it is clear they needed to spend well in the summer. And now, Ian Wright has backed Arteta and Edu to bring in the right players this summer:
