Ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola discussed a number of topics in his press conference.
On Man City team news, Pep said: “Aymer is back in training, Kyle is getting better I don’t know if tomorrow be ready. We’ll see in training this afternoon.”
On Erling Haaland winning Premier League Player of the Month for August, he added: “At the age that he has, his ambition, he wants to better. A perfect person, a nice guy. He already had the quality.”
Guardiola was also asked about Todd Boehly’s recent North vs South Premier League comments: “I don’t have opinion. No, no. I don’t have opinion.”

Wolves vs Manchester City
Manchester City head into the Wolves game as one of just two unbeaten teams in the Premier League this season, with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham the other.
They will also temporarily go top of the Premier League table if they pick up three points in Saturday’s early kick-off, with 1st-place Arsenal one point above and not in action until Sunday.
As for Wolves, they are down in 14th place with just one win to their name this campaign. Wolves have scored just three goals, but have also conceded just four.
Elsewhere, Bruno Lage was coy on Diego Costa’s potential involvement vs Man City:
Bruno Lage says ‘Let’s see’, when asked if Diego Costa will play for @Wolves tomorrow. “We have one more day.” Raul Jimenez definitely out.
