Fulham and Manchester United clashed in a Premier League match on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United headed into the game on a mixed run of form, with their last league outing a 3-1 loss at the hands of Aston Villa.
Fulham, meanwhile, were sat in 9th place and struggling to keep clean sheets.
And, when all was said and done in London, United snatched the three points.
Manchester United had the best chance of the game early on. Luke Shaw played in Rashford over the top and the winger passed to Anthony Martial who was about to shoot but Isa Diop recovered well.
United then opened the scoring 14 minutes in. Bruno Fernandes played the ball across goal and Christian Eriksen, who started the move, made a run into the box and tapped into an open net.
Manchester United should have gone two up inside 48 minutes but Anthony Elanga did not put enough power in his shot when he was played in. Rashford saw his effort from the deflection put behind for a corner.
This was followed by Fulham having two great chances 52 minutes in, which David de Gea did well to save.
Ten Hag then took off the struggling Elanga for Scott McTominay to add some protection to United’s defence.
The change did not have the desired effect, though, as Fulham equalised 61 minutes in.
Both of United’s full-backs were pushed too high, allowing Willian to slip in Cairney who found Dan James in the box.
Neither side looked as though they would find a second goal but substitute Garnahco scored an equaliser 92 minutes in.

Manchester United player ratings
David de Gea (7) – Made a number of good saves to deny Fulham. Could not have done much about the goal.

Lisandro Martinez (8) – A dominant showing from the Argentine who was especially impressive in the air.
Luke Shaw (5) – Linked with Rashford well down United’s left, playing a number of dangerous balls to the winger. Out of position for the Fulham equaliser.
Christian Eriksen (7) – Scored the opener after starting the move and making a great run into the box.
Casemiro (8) – Won the tackle that began the move for United’s first and was similarly dominant in midfield throughout the match.
Anthony Elanga (4) – Offered very little going forward and did not help the struggling Malacia out defensively.

Marcus Rashford (6.5) – Caused Fulham issues with his pace, running in behind their backline on several occasions.

Malacia is getting cooked on that right side feel bad for him can see him trying but can see it’s hard for him to adapt to that right back position. #FULMUN
