Euro 2024

Kevin de Bruyne celebrated earning his 100th Belgium cap with a goal in their Euro 2024 warm-up game against Montenegro.

The Manchester City midfielder was honoured for the milestone before kick-off at the King Baudouin Stadium before he opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time.

The 32-year-old slammed home in the 44th minute to put the Red Devils in the lead before Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard sealed the victory in stoppage time.

De Bruyne will captain Belgium at his sixth major tournament at Euro 2024 and face Luxembourg in a friendly on Saturday before their campaign begins.

Mbappe among the goals in France win

Kylian Mbappe celebrated his move to Real Madrid by scoring as France eased to a 3-0 win over Luxembourg.

Les Bleus, one of the favourites at Euro 2024, rubberstamped their credentials with a dominant display in Metz as the tournament edges closer.

Randal Kolo Muani and Jonathan Clauss scored as raced into a 2-0 lead, with Mbappe setting up both efforts.

And later in the game, Real’s new Galactico got among the goals himself with a well-taken finish.

Five-star Spain triumph

Spain will also head to Euro 2024 in confident scoring form after winning 5-0 against minnows Andorra.

Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oryazabal scored a second-half hat-trick, with Ayoze Perez and Ferran Torres finding the net either side as La Roja strolled to victory.

Luis de la Fuente’s men host Northern Ireland on Saturday before their Euro 2024 opener against Croatia seven days later.
