Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has, on Sunday evening, provided updates on the fitness of two headline members of his squad.
The players in question? Mason Mount, and Raphael Varane.
Both midfielder Mount and defender Varane, of course, have been unavailable for selection of late, owing to respective injury concerns.
The former is struggling with a hamstring problem, with Varane undergoing treatment for an unspecified issue, thought to be muscular.
The pair sat out United’s latest alarming Premier League defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, with the Red Devils faithful, in turn, no doubt keen for an insight into just when both could be back on the pitch.
And, as alluded to above, late on Sunday, precisely that has been forthcoming online.
“Both are in a good place. They are shortly coming [towards] a return.”

Next up for Ten Hag and co. comes a first outing of the European campaign, when United will make the trip to Germany, for a Champions League group stage showdown with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
