Dejan Kulusevski's Premier League-leading creative stats revealed after latest assist vs Newcastle

Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski's fine start to life with the club continued on Sunday, with a pair of altogether head-turning statistics surrounding the Swede's production, in turn, having since come to the fore.

Kulusevski, as expected, was afforded his latest Lilywhites start a short time ago.

This came as Antonio Conte's troops welcomed Newcastle United to north London, for the respective sides' first fixture on the back of the international break.

And Spurs' January addition, once more, made a telling impact.

Lining out on the right of the hosts' talent-laden front-three, 'Kulu' shone throughout, and even managed to chip in with his latest goal contribution early in the 2nd-half, in teeing up his side's 3rd with a pinpoint delivery for Heung-min Son:

Such exploits, in turn, have since given rise to a pair of hugely impressive statistics, highlighting just how telling Kulusevski's impact has been at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, on the back of his winter arrival from Juventus.

Not only has the Swedish international racked up more Premier League assists than any other player since taking to the pitch for his Spurs debut in February, but he has in fact laid on more goals than anyone in the English top-flight in 2022 as a whole:

Bergwijn rounds out the scoring

Kulusevski, of course, proved just one of a number of starring Tottenham performers on Sunday, as the capital outfit romped to their latest three-point haul.

After Newcastle opened the afternoon's scoring courtesy of a Fabian Schar free-kick late in the first-half, all of Ben Davies, Matt Doherty, Heung-min Son, Emerson Royal and Steven Bergwijn went on to find the target, guiding the Lilywhites to an eventual 5-1 triumph.
