Declan Rice & Michail Antonio respond to West Ham's draw with Lyon

West Ham United pair Declan Rice and Michail Antonio have taken to social media on Thursday evening, to provide their respective responses to the club's meeting with Olympique Lyonnais.

David Moyes' troops marked their return to action a short time ago.

Turning attentions back towards matters on the continent, the Irons welcomed Ligue 1 outfit Lyon to the London Stadium for the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final tie between the clubs.

And, when all was said and done, the evening's hosts emerged from proceedings with a credible share of the spoils.

A hard-fought 90 minutes saw Jarrod Bowen open the scoring early in the 2nd-half, to send West Ham on their way to what would have proven a historic result:

Lyon, though, carved out a decisive equaliser 25 minutes from time, when on-loan Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele poked home from close range to leave the tie on a knife-edge ahead of next week's return leg in France.

'Coming out swinging'

Now, on the back of the action coming to a close in the English capital, two of West Ham's stars have taken to social media, to provide their respective takes on both the clash itself, and their upcoming trip to Lyon.

The players in question? Declan Rice and Michail Antonio.

In posts on their official Twitter accounts, both lauded the resilience showcased by their teammates on Thursday, after Moyes' troops were reduced to ten men on the stroke of the interval.

The key Irons duo also appear to be raring to go ahead of next Thursday's 2nd-leg, with Antonio in particular confident of 'getting that W':
