Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has, on Sunday, secured for himself another coveted individual accolade.

The week, to date, has of course seen the subject of awards take its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Manchester.

This comes with the Red Devils' finest performers across something of a season to forget having been recognised for their efforts by players and fans alike.

First up came David de Gea, voted Players' Player of the Season by the rest of now-former boss Ralf Rangnick's squad:

Then, a little over 24 hours ago, de Gea was beaten out to the coveted Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year prize by summer returnee and beloved teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The award marked the Portuguese's 4th across his combined spells in Manchester:

And now, as alluded to above, Ronaldo has secured for himself yet another piece of hardware, to add ever further to what is no doubt a bulging trophy cabinet.

The prize in question comes in the form of the Manchester United Goal of the Season award.

The strike, one of 24 netted by the Red Devils' main man across the 2021/22 campaign, came during a Premier League meeting with Tottenham back in March.

After picking the ball up 25 yards from goal, Ronaldo quickly steadied himself, before directing an unstoppable drive into the far top corner of the helpless Hugo Lloris' net:
