Concern surrounding the wellbeing of a trio of Arsenal stars has spread late on Saturday, owing to their respective absences from the club’s latest matchday squad.

The Gunners, of course, are currently locked in action.

Ahead of their return to competitive action against capital rivals West Ham United on Boxing Day, Mikel Arteta’s troops have returned to base in north London, for a friendly meeting with Italian heavyweights Juventus.

Ahead of the clash getting underway, Arsenal, in turn, unveiled the club’s matchday squad a short time ago.

Head coach Arteta, as showcased below, opted for a strong starting XI, featuring the talents of the likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard:

As alluded to above, though, it is not the club’s line-up to face Juventus itself which has since piqued the attentions of the Arsenal faithful on Saturday.

As highlighted by a host of fans of the north Londoners, just nine days out from the club’s meeting with West Ham, all of Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Emile Smith Rowe remain on the absentee list.

Particular concern surrounds the latter pair, both of whom were expected to have made further progress in their respective injury recoveries by this point.
