A fresh insight into the plans of Premier League giants Liverpool for midfield loanee Arthur Melo has been provided on Friday.
Brazilian international Arthur, of course, swapped Turin for Merseyside this summer, after falling heavily out of favour under the watch of Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
With Liverpool’s pursuit of alternative engine room targets having continued to prove fruitless, the decision, in turn, was taken to swoop for Arthur ahead of the summer transfer deadline earlier this month.
The ex-Barcelona talent has since gone on to feature on a solitary occasion for his new side, introduced off the bench late in a Champions League drubbing at the hands of Napoli.
Over the course of the week to date, though, word stemming from the media has pointed towards early concerns on Liverpool’s part, when it comes to the readiness of their latest recruit to contribute on a weekly basis.
In fact, on Thursday, reports by way of his home county of Brazil pointed towards Jurgen Klopp and co. preparing to open negotiations with their Juventus counterparts, regarding the possibility of sending Arthur back to Italy.
🚨 Jürgen Klopp is already fed up with Arthur and does not believe he is the level required.
Liverpool are already looking for a way to cut the loan contract short in January.
