Arsenal fans use Man United’s hammering at Liverpool as ammo to take aim at Gary Neville

Supporters of Premier League table-toppers Arsenal have taken to social media in their droves on Sunday evening, to take collective aim at Manchester United legend Gary Neville.

This, of course, comes fresh off one of the most memorable outings in the recent history of English football playing to completion a short time ago.

The matchup in question saw rivalries renewed, as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool welcomed Erik ten Hag’s high-flying Manchester United to Anfield.

The latter, of course, headed into proceedings with confidence brimming in the camp, fresh off bringing an end to the club’s long-standing silverware drought last weekend.

When all was said and done on Sunday, however, to say that the Red Devils were brought back down to earth would be something of an understatement.

An absolutely chaotic affair on Merseyside ultimately culminated in Liverpool making history, en route to putting seven goals past Ten Hag and co, without reply.

Joining the Reds faithful have been their counterparts at Arsenal, quick to make full use of the situation in taking aim at Gary Neville in absolutely ruthless fashion.

For those not aware, this comes after Neville, over the course of the campaign, time and time again reiterated his stance that Mikel Arteta’s Gunners would fall off the title pace, to ultimately close the term sitting behind Manchester United in the Premier League table.
