Supporters of Arsenal have flooded to social media on Friday evening, to make their frustrations with two members of the club’s squad crystal clear.
Mikel Arteta’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.
Amid ongoing efforts to stave off the pressure of champions Manchester City atop the table, the Gunners have welcomed bottom-of-the-table Southampton to north London, for a Premier League clash.
To say that things could not have gotten off to a much worse start for the evening’s hosts, however, would be something of an understatement.
This came as, incredibly, Southampton capitalised on a pair of mistakes, to surge into a two-goal lead inside the quarter of an hour-mark at The Emirates.

Arsenal, to their credit, have since managed to pull one back, courtesy of a fine finish on the part of Gabriel Martinelli.
Taking to social media in their absolute numbers, fans of Arteta’s side have taken firm aim at a whole host of the club’s star performers.
None, however, have been more widely targeted than midfield pair Fabio Vieira and Thomas Partey, with just some of the Twitter highlights centering on the duo showcased below:
Vieira and Partey might as well not be on the pitch.

Vieira is trash and Partey playing poorly in recent weeks https://t.co/uaWWEHQqJ3

Partey has been off it for a while and Vieira is not worthy of the XI.

Fucking ridiculous
Why are we starting Fabio Vieira over Jorginho. Gezza has been terrible all season.
Back 4 are a shambles and Partey been ropey again. Step it up!

Midfield is dead. Fabio Vieira don’t even know, where he is at. Same as Partey and Holding.
