Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has, late on Sunday, provided an update on the wellbeing of youngster Alejandro Garnacho.
For those who may have missed it, attacker Garnacho set alarm bells ringing across the United fanbase earlier this evening.
The Red Devils, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
Fresh off a morale-boosting drubbing of Real Betis in Europe in midweek, Ten Hag and co. turned their attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, eyeing a 2nd win on the spin in a meeting with relegation-battling Southampton at Old Trafford.
When all was said and done, however, a disappointing afternoon’s work saw United forced to settle for a share of the spoils, owing to a goalless stalemate.
And the woes of the hosts did not end there.
In turn, it came as a major concern, post-match, when images began to surface online of the Argentine departing Old Trafford making use of a set of crutches:

Erik ten Hag, however, was keen to play down the possibility of a long-term absence for his gifted young wide-man when drawn on the situation by the media.
Insistent that his late departure from the action came as a precautionary measure, United’s headmaster explained:
“He was a little bit limping after a bad tackle. They bring on another striker, big & tall one, & I don’t want to go for any risk. We were already down to 10 & with one player who is maybe 90%, that’s why I called him off but I think it’s not too bad.”
