AC Milan director Paolo Maldini has, on Thursday, provided an insight into the futures of three members of the club’s first-team setup.
The players in question? Ismael Bennacer, Pierre Kalulu and Rafael Leao.
Those of a Milan persuasion will of course be fully aware of the importance of all three of the aforementioned stars.
Alongside Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori and Sandro Tonali, stopper Kalulu and midfield general Bennacer represent the spine of Stefano Pioli’s Scudetto-winning side.
Leao, meanwhile, is the reigning Serie A Player of the Year, acting as Milan’s leading creative source from his berth on the left flank.

Those of a Rossoneri persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be overjoyed to hear of efforts being kicked into gear to lock all three down to fresh terms.
“We’re now in talks to extend the contracts of Ismael Bennacer, Pierre Kalulu and Rafa Leão. We want them to stay, it’s also up to the players”.
Maldini also went on to reveal that the Diavolo opted to knock back a verbal proposal for Leao over the summer, courtesy of Premier League giants Chelsea.
