Colorado Rapids v Inter Miami: Line-ups, stats and preview
Colorado Rapids take in Inter Miami in the MLS on Saturday. Read our in-depth preview here
For the first time in their short history, Inter Miami travel to face the Colorado Rapids at Empower Field on Saturday, as both sides continue their 2026 MLS campaigns.
Colorado have made a strong start at home this season, winning all three of their league matches at Empower Field by a combined score of 12-3.
Matthew Wells’ side have been prolific in their matches so far, with 19 goals scored since the start of the season, tied for the most in the league, while also netting in 10 straight regular-season home games.
Despite their home form, the Rapids have struggled against Eastern Conference opposition this year, losing both such encounters, and will be aiming to correct that trend this weekend.
Inter Miami, meanwhile, enter a new phase following the departure of Javier Mascherano, with Angel Guillermo Hoyos stepping in as interim head coach.
The Herons remain unbeaten in their last six MLS matches and have shown resilience, picking up points even after conceding first in several games this season.
Their attacking quality remains a premium in the league, although they were held to a 2-2 draw by the New York Red Bulls last time out, with Lionel Messi failing to score.
