Arsenal will have to juggle their European commitments with the desire to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League when they host Fulham this afternoon.
The Gunners earned a solid 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night and face Diego Simeone’s men in the return on Tuesday.
In between is the arguably more important meeting with Fulham. An Arsenal win would move them six points clear of Manchester City, having played two games more. City visit Everton on Bank Holiday Monday.
Fulham beat Aston Villa last weekend to keep alive their hopes of a place in Europe next season and will hope to capitalise on any fatigue in the Gunners camp.
