Tottenham v Everton: Confirmed line-ups and team news as hosts go in search of vital point

Tottenham require just a point to end a traumatic season on a high and avoid relegation to the Championship.

Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor have been and gone and it is left to Roberto De Zerbi to preserve the club’s place in the top flight.

They start the final day two points above West Ham and with a vastly superior goal difference. West Ham play host to Leeds.

Everton have nothing to play for but boss David Moyes will hope for a better performance from his side than the one they produced in losing 3-1 at home to Sunderland last weekend.

TOTTENHAM TEAM NEWS

Roberto De Zerbi makes one change to the team that lost at Chelsea on Tuesday. Randal Kolo Muani drops out of the starting XI, with Djed Spence – fresh from his England call-up for the World Cup – comes in.

James Maddison is once again on the bench, and will likely have a role to play should proceedings not go the host’s way this afternoon.

Tottenham: Kinsky, Danso, Palhinha, Richarlison, Tel, Udogie, Gallagher, Porro, Spence, Bentancur, Van de Ven

EVERTON TEAM NEWS

David Moyes insisted in his press conference that he would like to keep West Ham in the Premier League, but his primary objective was to secure a top-half finish for Everton.

And he has plenty of quality to lean on in the form of Illman Ndiaye, who will be hoping to put Spurs to the sword and spoil their survival party this afternoon.

Everton: Pickford, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko, Iroegbunam, Garner, Rohl, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye, Barry
