Tottenham have announced the departures of three assistant coaches as they reportedly close in on appointing Thomas Frank as their new head coach.

Mile Jedinak, Nick Montgomery and Sergio Raimundo have all left their roles.

All three were hired as part of Ange Postecoglou’s team, but follow him in leaving the club despite Tottenham winning a first major trophy for 17 years under his stewardship.

A statement from Tottenham read: “We can announce the departures of Mile Jedinak, Nick Montgomery and Sergio Raimundo from their roles as Assistant Coaches.

“We should like to thank them for their contribution to the Club and wish them every success for the future.”

Postecoglou was relieved of his duties six days ago having won the Europa League in his second season in charge. Though their 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the final secured Champions League football, Postecoglou also oversaw 22 Premier League defeats in 2024-25, with Spurs finishing 17th.

That dismal domestic record led to his exit, with Brentford boss Frank reportedly set to be appointed this week.

Frank has been in charge at Brentford since 2018.

He led the Bees to promotion via the playoffs in 2021 and has stabilised them as a Premier League club, securing two top-half finishes in four seasons in the top flight.
