Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah says he wants to enjoy the last year of his contract before making a decision on his future.
The 32-year-old is yet to pen an extension with the Reds and could leave as a free agent in 2025.
The Merseyside club turned down a mammoth £150million offer from Saudi Arabia last year, such is Salah’s value to the squad.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “Before the season, I was just like ‘I’ve got one year left, let’s just enjoy it and don’t think about the contract’.
“I don’t want to think about next year or the future, I just want to enjoy the last year [of my contract] and let’s see.
“The most important thing is to take one day at a time and just be grateful to be here.”

Salah has won almost everything on offer since moving to Liverpool in 2017.
The Europa League is the only trophy to elude the Egyptian, but he will not care too much considering he has the Champions League, Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup on his record.
Having scored over 200 goals for the club, Salah signed a three-year extension in 2022, making him the highest earner in Liverpool’s history.
He has already scored under new head coach Arne Slot this season, as the Reds look to keep pace with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the table.
