Newly-promoted Ipswich Town have signed Burnley midfielder Florentino Luis on a five-year deal.
The 26-year-old made his loan move from Benfica to the Clarets a permanent one in June and has now moved on for a reported fee of £16 million.
Florentino was a key part of former Burnley manager Scott Parker’s team in their unsuccessful fight to avoid relegation from the Premier League and made 33 appearances in total.

“It feels brilliant to be a part of this club,” Florentino said.
“I think I will be very happy here. I like how the club sees the future and there are a lot of good players.
“How the club is thinking to the long-term is one of the main reasons I came here.
“I can bring experience and balance to the team, between defence and attack, and I like to bring the connection.”

Ipswich are back in the top flight after finishing second behind Coventry in the Championship last season.
Manager Kieran McKenna stepped down after that promotion, with former Bournemouth boss Gary O’Neil taking the reins.
