Leandro Trossard struck in either half, Gabriel Martinelli scored his 50th Arsenal goal and Ethan Nwaneri netted his ninth goal of the season as the Gunners thrashed Ipswich Town to ensure Liverpool will not win the Premier League on Sunday.
Forward Trossard turned smartly inside the box to hook in for his 11th direct goal involvement of the season in the 14th minute, setting the tone for a dominant Arsenal display before Martinelli pounced from close range 14 minutes later, meeting Mikel Merino’s clever flick.
Ipswich had full-back Leif Davis dismissed for a foul on Bukayo Saka four minutes later, and Trossard fired in his second in the 69th minute to extinguish any hopes Town might have held of a comeback.
Nwaneri completed the scoring with a low shot from near the penalty spot with two minutes remaining, leaving Ipswich certain of relegation should the Tractor Boys not win all of their remaining five league games this season.

Ipswich vs Arsenal: Saka injury
After completing a sensational 5-1 aggregate win at Real Madrid on Wednesday, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had called upon his players to ensure their league season finishes on a high following draws with Everton and Brentford to put third-placed Newcastle four points behind them at the start of the weekend.
Knowing that defeat would allow runaway leaders Liverpool to lift the trophy with victory at a Leicester City side in dismal form later in the afternoon, Arsenal capitalised on Newcastle’s defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday in style.

The only concern from a serene afternoon for the team who will meet Paris Saint-Germain in the final four in Europe was an injury sustained by Saka as a result of Davis’ challenge, which earned the culprit his marching orders following a review.
Saka’s return for the second half was perhaps a surprise, particularly when the England international applied an ice pack to his achilles after later being substituted.
Premier League table: Ipswich on brink
Ipswich are 15 points behind fourth-bottom West Ham, having resembled a team resigned to their fate while offering little against a team who started 43 points above them.
On-loan Brighton & Hove Albion winger Julio Enciso was replaced by Jack Taylor at half-time and top scorer Liam Delap was also introduced as a substitute during the closing stages, but neither could inspire their side to an attempt on target.
Arsenal are next in action at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday (20:00 BST), while Ipswich visit Newcastle on Satuday (15:00).
The first leg of Arsenal’s tie against PSG is at the Emirates Stadium on April 29 (20:00).
