Fulham have re-signed Willian just six months after the Brazilian left the club for Olympiakos.

The 36-year-old, who played for the Cottagers between 2022 and 2024, has joined as a free agent after departing Olympiakos in December.

β€œI’m really happy to be back here,” Willian said. β€œI think it’s a great opportunity again to play for this club, and I’m fully motivated to get on the pitch and do things well for this club.

β€œI’m completely happy, my family’s happy. We are happy to be back, and I think we can do good things until the end of the season, so I can’t wait to start with my teammates and do good things inside the pitch.”

Willian became a fan favourite during his previous spell at Craven Cottage, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in 67 appearances.

He played a key role as the Whites finished in the top half during their first season back in the Premier League under Marco Silva before leaving at the end of last season.

The 70-cap former Brazil international lasted just three months in Greece.

Fulham chairman Tony Khan added: β€œI’m delighted to welcome Willian back to Fulham Football Club!

β€œHe made a great impact during his time at the club previously, he is excited to come back and play for Marco again, our supporters and everyone at the club are very happy that he’s rejoined us for the remainder of the season!

β€œCome on Fulham!”

Willian is an experienced Premier League player having previously starred for both Chelsea and Arsenal, racking up 317 top-flight appearances overall.

He won the title during seven years with the Blues before a solitarity campaign with the Gunners in 2020-21.
