Aston Villa need a win this afternoon if they are to reignite their hopes of a top-five finish in the Premier League.
Having enjoyed a wonderful run to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season, Unai Emery’s side are desperate to make a swift return.
Manchester City’s victory over Wolves last night has not helped their cause but a win over Fulham in the lunchtime game would apply pressure on the likes of Newcastle and Chelsea, who both play tomorrow, and Nottingham Forest, who appear on Monday Night Football.
Fulham have plenty to play for themselves as they are still in the mix to qualify for European football in some form.
