Aston Villa have announced the signing of Turkey Under-21 international Yasin Ozcan from Kasimpasa on a pre-contract agreement.
The 18-year-old will spend the remainder of the season with the Turkish club before joining up with Unai Emery’s side in the summer.
Ozcan has signed a five-year deal at Villa Park after Villa paid a reported £6.4million to land the left-footed centre-back, who can also operate at left-back.
The teenager has already made 81 appearances for Kasimpasa, while he has been capped 12 times by Turkey’s Under-21s.

Ozcan enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Super Lig in 2022-23, featuring 19 times in the league and scoring twice either side of his 17th birthday.
He has since become a mainstay for Kasimpasa, featuring 40 times in all competitions last season and a further 21 in 2024-25.
The highly-rated youngster was called up to Turkey’s national team prior to Euro 2024 in June but did not make an appearance in their pre-tournament friendlies.
